Driven by CMI’s commitment to leadership and innovation, Dr. Roberto Manuel Assael founded the International Panel Physician Association (IPPA), an initiative supported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This organization was instrumental in standardizing criteria for international migration medical examinations and establishing panel physicians as a recognized medical specialty.
In October 2009, CMI inaugurated its new, state-of-the-art facilities in the new consular district of Ciudad Juárez. Strategically located just steps from the U.S. Consulate, the facility significantly optimizes logistics for applicants throughout their immigration process.
